Mandatory energy renovation: what every homeowner needs to know

In France, 4.8 million homes are classified as F or G on the DPE ( Energy Performance Diagnosis), representing 1 in 5 primary residences . Faced with this situation, the State is accelerating the energy transition: 100% of homes must reach a BBC (Low Consumption Building) level (A or B) by 2050. Energy renovation is therefore no longer a technical subject reserved for a few experts: it is becoming a progressive obligation for all owners, both landlords and sellers .
